God say "No"

I am not religious but I would like to share this because it inspired me something!

Charles

I asked God to take away my habit. God said, No. 神說:不
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No. 神說:不!
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. 神說:不!
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. 神說:不!
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No. 神說:不!
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, No. 神說:不!
You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No. 神說:不!
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me. God said.......Ahhhh,finally you have the idea.

THIS DAY IS YOURS DON'T THROW IT AWAY
May God Bless You, 祝福你,
'To the world you might be one person,
> But to one person you just might be the world' 但對「某」一個人來說,你可能就是他的世界。
May the Lord Bless you and keep you, 願主賜福及守護你
May the Lord Make his face shine upon you, 願主照耀你
And give you Peace......Forever'

'Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, But you know they are always there."

Inside DB News Article on Sichuan Trip

Local gymnastics coach, eye witness from the Beijing Olympics and hands on relief giver to the survivors of the Sichuan earthquake, Charles Chan should, according to Joan Gill, be given a gold medal.

Meet DB gymnastics coach Charles Chan and you’ll find that he is as active, enthusiastic and inspiring in person as he promises to be on paper. This Hong Kong native has been teaching gymnastics in Discovery Bay for five years, but also puts time aside to help those in need. Named a Hong Kong Hero by So-U TV, Chan travelled to the Sichuan Province in July to spread joy to quake victims. After a draining yet rewarding week, he then headed to Beijing to take in the sights and soak up the atmosphere of the Olympic Games.

Chan, who has been practicing gymnastics since he was 12 years old, first started teaching in 1987. Once he realised he could make a career as a coach and teacher, he enrolled in the Beijing Sports University. Now through his fitness company, Sportsmanship, Chan teaches gymnastics to kids, aiming to promote health in both body and mind. “The name sportsmanship says it all,” he explains. “I use the sport as a tool to teach a concept. You must nurture the body and mind and develop good habits in kids at a young age.”

Chan is constantly trying to help others take control of their own lives, and in the past has travelled to mainland China, Taiwan and Nepal to help those in need. No surprise then that after watching news coverage of the destruction to Sichuan Province in May, Chan felt that he had to do something. When he heard of a group of mostly mainland volunteers, who were headed to Baichuan to spread psychological relief, Chan jumped on board, eager to implement methods from his work in DB.

Hello friends,

Long time no see! Just trying my Blog and wish to share something about friends! Please comment if you like this. I could share more positive, healthy information for inspiration!

August 15: More Gold and Quanxi

Charles Chan has did it again. He managed to get a priceless ticket to the upcoming track and field competion. Money can't buy it but Quanxi makes it all happen and Charles has deep ties to Beijing and the athletes there. He will be watching out for Liu Xiang the 110 meter hurdler that won in Athens and is expected to take the gold medal in Beijing. He is also cheering on his gymnastic colleagues Yang Wei, Li Xiao Peng, Cheng Fei, He Kexin and Chen Yibing as they go for the gold medals in their individual competitions. A big surprise to Charles was seeing Li Na beat Venus Williams to move closer to the gold medal for the tennis championship. Where Michael Phelps is notable all of the attention is on the great spirit and athleticism shown by the China team. Charles is filling up his weekend with more stuff to tell us about.
